Position Available: Small Engine Repair Mechanic

We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated candidate for our small engine repair department. This person will have experience in the repair and maintenance of small engines and lawn equipment. This position starts at $15.00 per hour and offers plenty of opportunities for certification and a great benefits package.

We offer a wide variety of products and services to satisfy every customer, from the DIY homeowner to the seasoned professional. Under the leadership of our owner, Glenn Ubertino, we have expanded into a family of five different retail locations. We have a well earned reputation for quality products, competitive prices and excellent customer service. 

We are open 8:00-5:00, Monday - Saturday. We are a high-traffic, high-volume retailer. Our main customer base are homeowners, both year round and seasonal, landscapers, property managers and contractors. 

Who you are:

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years experience in small engine repair

• Basic computer skills

• Good organization and communication skills

What you will be doing:

• Properly diagnose and repair small engine equipment from a variety of manufacturers, including but not limited to:

  • Weedeaters

  • Leaf blowers

  • Chainsaws

  • Pressure washers

• Have a basic understanding of various manufacturers:

  • Stihl

  • Husqvarna

  • EGO

• Order parts when necessary

• Keep track of inventory

• Contact customers about their equipment

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse
