Q. After applying two coats of DRYLOK® Latex Masonry Waterproofer, do I have to prime before putting on a decorative paint? 

A. No, DRYLOK® will act as the primer for any good quality latex paint.

Q. Would DRYLOK® work to seal a crack in a basement wall foundation where water is seeping in? 

A. DRYLOK® will fill fine, hairline cracks. For bigger cracks and chips in masonry, we suggest you use DRYLOK® Fast Plug®.

Q. Can I use a spray gun to apply DRYLOK® Masonry Waterproofer? 

A. Yes, spray specs can be found on each DRYLOK® product page.

Q. Can DRYLOK® be used over paint? 

A. No, you need to remove any existing coating. DRYLOK® works by entering the pores of the masonry and expanding as it dries to become part of the wall surface.

Q. Can DRYLOK® be used outdoors? 

A. Yes, DRYLOK® can be applied to interior and exterior masonry surfaces – above or below grade.
