Bliffert Lumber Promotes Josh Brown to Chief Operating Officer

Bliffert Lumber is pleased to announce the promotion of Josh Brown to Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective July 31, 2024.

Brown joined Bliffert in 2001, starting at the Morgan Avenue location's lumber counter. Over the years, he has progressed through various roles, including Sales, Estimator, Manager, Executive Vice President, and now Chief Operating Officer.

“Josh is a tremendous asset to our team and a key contributor to Bliffert Lumber’s growth over his 23 years with the company,” said Eli Bliffert, fifth-generation owner of Bliffert Lumber. “His expertise in the construction industry is unmatched, and our customers view him as a trusted resource. We consider him family and are grateful to have him as a leader at Bliffert Lumber.”

In his new role as Chief Operating Officer, Josh will continue to oversee various departments, including sales, while assisting with the development of long-term growth strategies and managing the day-to-day operations of Bliffert’s 14 locations and 400 employees.
