At Bender Lumber we just love someone who has an ambitious spirit. We found that spirit while talking with Brandon Dugle of Madison Construction 

Like most energetic and business minded enterprisers, Brandon had several ventures with good fits and not so good fits along the way. One of his successful attempts was a powder coating business that became well known in the outdoor equipment business. Once profitable, Brandon sold this entity before starting his Construction business.  

Like many successful and driven individuals, it starts at an early age. Brandon’s parents always required him to work during his summer breaks, usually around one of the trades. This work helped create the desire to succeed. 

Somewhere along the way Brandon met Sam Ernest, a framer in the Madison area. As is often the case, Sam needing an extra hand, Brandon had two and together they built a pole barn. This soon became a friendship that would overflow into a business relationship.  

A contractor friend, Rick Ford who was ready to retire gave Brandon some leads, and Madison Construction began. 

The years have passed, Brandon is now building new custom homes. He appreciates all those who have mentored him throughout the years and has learned his trade well. One of his most recent helpers is Bender Lumber sales associate Eric Ashton. Eric provides Brandon with valuable information regarding special products and helps with job costing. 

Brandon says: Eric and Bender Lumber are partially responsible for the largest growth since he started his business. He says, “If I need it, Bender Lumber will find a way to get it there.” This kind of professionalism helps him get the job done. 

Brandon is looking forward to many years partnering with Eric and Bender Lumber. Together their success is encapsulated by this quote from Brandon: “You have to care about other people’s property.” With that as his “Unique Service Proposition” we believe Madison Construction is headed for some good years and Bender Lumber is thankful for our partnership with Brandon and team.
