Jones Builders Testimonial

 Jones Builders

In 1981 after getting a degree from Vincennes University in the field of Construction Technology, John Jones was not ready to start his own business, so he found work with a local remodeler. After all, gaining some more practical hands-on experience could compliment what he had learned at VU. As is the case our plans do not always work, well, as planned. Soon John was laid off with only 2500.00 in the bank. This did not seem like enough capital to get started but John was thrust, by fate into starting Jones Builders.

John made the best of the situation, doing small jobs only one man could do. Kitchens, baths and additions, jobs that required little money to get started. John learned he could maintain control of his schedule and craftsmanship as it was up to him to create a quality job.

As John’s business grew, he applied some advice from his family to help the business and keep the proper order. Advise like that of his Father-in-Law to “always work for the one who pays you the fastest”. John also mimic’s his mom’s work ethic by working hard every day and to rest on Sunday.

Bender Lumber also plays a pivotal role for John. Salesman Ryan Clansman specializes in finding those hard-to-find special products and consistently helps John plan ahead to the next possible stage in the building process. Washington store manager David Faith is always flexible when applying company policy and employ’s a common-sense flexible approach to store management.

We look forward to much more from Jones Builders and a big thank you for all the years of loyal enterprise together.
