VOC Semi-Solid™ Exterior Oil Stain
Semi-Solid stains are completely unique to Cabot and bridge the gap between a semi-transparent and a solid finish. The VOC oil-based stains protect against the sun´s UV rays, mildew, and water. Guaranteed not to crack, peel, or blister. Additional pigment yields a unique, richly colored finish that still allows natural wood texture to show through. Can be applied to new, smooth, or rough exterior wood, weathered or previously semi-transparent or semi-solid stained surfaces including siding, plywood, including Texture 1-11, shingles, and trim. Remove mildew, mold, and tannin bleed problems with Problem-Solver wood cleaner and wood brightener. Use Problem-Solver wood stripper to safely remove all oil-based stains and paints. Approximate coverage on smooth, new wood: 400 to 600 sq. ft. per gallon, or 150 to 250 sq. ft. per gallon on rough, new wood.
