Varathane® Premium Gel Stain
Gel stain is unlike regular oil-based stains. It is ideal for vertical surfaces such as doors and window trim. The properties of gel stain will provide twice the coverage of oil-based stains, does not drip or run and causes no lap marks or grain raise. It can also be used to create a natural wood look to fiberglass and composite doors. This product can be used for both interior and exterior applications. Use on furniture, doors, veneer, or outdoor furniture. Allow stain to dry a minimum of 2 hours and then re-coat if desired. Then allow to dry 8 hours before applying an oil-based protective finish or 24 hours dry time before applying water-based protective finish.
